- Top and finish: Remove the meatloaf from the oven and pour the French onion topping over it. Sprinkle with extra shredded cheese. Return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Rest before serving: Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
