Instructions:
Prepare and bake the chocolate cake according to the instructions on the box for a 9×13-inch cake pan.
Once baked, allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes.
Using the end of a wooden spoon or a skewer, poke holes all over the cake.
In a small bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce.
Pour the mixture over the warm cake, making sure to pour it into the holes.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the top of the cake.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and heavy cream.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
Pour the chocolate ganache over the top of the cake, spreading it out evenly.
Drizzle additional caramel sauce and chocolate sauce over the cake.
Sprinkle additional chopped pecans over the top for garnish.
Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing and serving.
Serve slices of the Chocolate Turtle Poke Cake with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired.
