Ingredients:
1 package of crescent rolls
21 ounces apple pie filling
Optional: 1 teaspoon of cinnamon or nutmeg
21 ounces apple pie filling
Optional: 1 teaspoon of cinnamon or nutmeg
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
2. Cut crescent rolls into 13 pieces or so of equal size.
3. Combine apple pie filling with spice (if using). Pour sauce into casserole dish.
4. Ensure crescent roll pieces are coated in the sauce.
5. Bake the dumplings in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes, or until they become golden brown and the apples are tender. Flip the dumplings in the middle of the cook time.
Serve the warm Apple Pie Dumplings on their own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
