seekh kabab

Ingredients:

  • 500g minced meat (beef, lamb, or chicken)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, minced
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for greasing)

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced meat, chopped onion, minced green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, chopped cilantro, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into elongated cylindrical kababs around skewers.
  3. Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium-high heat. Lightly grease the grates with vegetable oil to prevent the kababs from sticking.
  4. Place the skewered kababs on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are evenly browned and cooked through.
  5. Once done, remove the Seekh Kababs from the grill and serve hot with mint chutney, sliced onions, and lemon wedges.
