Instructions:

Step 1: Preparing the Dough

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick baking mix, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  2. Gradually add the milk while stirring continuously to form a soft dough.
  3. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it gently for about 5 minutes until smooth.

Step 2: Rolling Out the Dough

  1. Roll the dough into a 10×14-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  2. Spread the softened butter over the entire surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Step 3: Creating the Cinnamon Sugar Filling

  1. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  2. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.

Step 4: Rolling the Dough

  1. Starting from one of the longer sides, tightly roll the dough into a log shape.
